No.30 built in 1864 is a stunning spacious Victorian seaside house set over four floors which can accommodate family groups comfortably. Situated in the popular west cliff area only a few minutes walk from the beach or town centre with its many pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants.

On entering the property you will first notice it’s Victorian grandeur and in contrast the huge 100 square metres of light and airy contemporary socialising space.

A real feature of No. 30 is the huge open plan modern kitchen, dining and living room. To create the dining area there are 2 extending tables which when configured seat 18 and with the breakfast bar seating a further 8, mean that the whole group can enjoy meals together in one room.

The main living room has 3 leather sofas to snuggle up on and a large log burner for the chiller months. For the cosy feel it can either be closed off from the kitchen or by opening the double doors it flows through to the open plan kitchen and second living area and courtyard, where there is plenty of outside seating including an extending table with chairs.

The 10 bedrooms have king beds, all have en suite shower facilities.

If you fancy exploring further afield Robin Hoods Bay and Sandsend are only a short coastal walk away. why not board the steam train to Pickering on the journey you may visit some of the charming villages in the North York Moors. One being Goathland where the popular series of ‘Heartbeat’ was filmed. Whitby has regular buses running south to Scarborough, north towards Sandsend and west to York.

Whitby skirts the edge of the North York Moors National Park which has countless picturesque villages waiting to be visited, footpaths ready to be walked and bridal ways longing to be explored by bike.

All in all No.30 is the perfect place to stay whether you love that early morning beach walk or heading out into the night for a bite to eat, discovering the history of Whitby, albeit with your loved ones or celebrating in style.

The dining room is open plan into the kitchen, 2 white gloss tables extend to seat 18, with a further 8 around the breakfast bar. 2 high chairs.

Sitting Room

No.30 has a grand yet cosy living room, boasting striped floor, large bay window, high ceilings, cornice, log burning stove, 3 leather sofas, + 43” TV

TV and Music Facilities

Flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and living room, Sonos speakers in kitchen and living/dining area.

Heating and Open Fires

There is a log burner in the living room, central heating downstairs and the communal areas. All bedrooms have personally controlled electric heating.

Bedrooms

10 bedrooms all with en suite shower rooms. All bedrooms have king size beds. 2 cots.

Linen

One full set of white cotton linen is provided for every bedroom and one towel per person and one hand towel per room.

Bathrooms

All bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and there is a downstairs wc.

Children's Facilities

Children toys are provided in the living room. Also available are 2 cots and 2 high chairs.

We don’t have a private pool but there is a public swimming pool at the leisure centre which is a 2 minute walk away.

Parking

We can provide parking permits for 5 cars from 1st of March to 30th of October. Parking is free in the pay and display areas and west Cliff car park.

No. 30 is in the West Cliff area of Whitby only 5 minutes walk downhill to the harbour and 2 minutes to the seafront.

  • 2 minutes walk to local shops and 10 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket.
