The bunkhouse is wheelchair accessible throughout. Located in the Ceiriog Valley, this venue offers a breath of fresh air for youth and school groups working on personal development and team building skills.
Children will enjoy the opportunity to cook together in the large commercial kitchen and to sit down and eat socially. After supper, push back the tables for some fun, team games or bingo, or gather in the lounge on the cosy sofas for movie night. There’s even a games console for anyone who is missing the XBox. The dining room works well as a classroom too, with tables for field work projects and Duke of Edinburgh journal filling.
4 dorm style rooms provide a range of flexible sleeping arrangements with 2 rooms for 2, ideal as group leader or teacher rooms. The other 2 rooms sleep 8 in each. Bathroom facilities are plentiful across the bunkhouse including wet rooms.
The area is known for a wide range of outdoor activities and there are plenty of great opportunities for team building and bonding sessions. For a treat take the group into Llangollen for a ride on the steam railway or on a horse drawn canal boat, or venture into Eryri National Park for adrenaline-fuelled activities including Zip World and Bounce Below.
