North Base Apartment is on the ground floor, a bolthole for 2 guests and somewhere popular for the grandparents or anyone less mobile. This is a wonderful base from which to discover the spectacular Bay of Islands, offering comfortable living areas and flexible bedrooms for extended families and friends, with the most glorious sea views. North Base House has an open plan design, with living areas featuring enormous picture windows to showcase the amazing backdrop. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking together, preparing meals that can be enjoyed inside or outside. There are comfy sofas and a Smart TV with favourite streaming services. North Base Apartment is self contained with well appointed living areas. Guests can gather outside on the house deck for a barbecue or head to the apartment patio for a quiet beer at the end of a day spent exploring. The bedrooms in the house are flexible for a mixed age group, with some able to be set up as super kings or twins using zip and links. There's also a double and a bunk room for the children. 3 en suites and 2 shared bathrooms spread across the properties provide plentiful facilities. The outside shower comes in handy for sandy pets too - with dogs welcome. Wander down to the wharf to catch a cruise boat to explore the Hole In The Rock and seek out dolphins. There's plenty to keep water enthusiasts entertained, with the coast nearby for a cold water swim or snorkelling. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds are worthy of a visit, New Zealand's most historic site where its founding document was signed.
