Sleeps up to 18! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.
North Lake Chapel is an imaginatively converted former Methodist chapel, dating from circa 1860's. The approach to the chapel is through gates opening to the wide gravel driveway, which leads past a small lawn area to the front. At the rear there is an enclosed graveled courtyard with a hot tub, BBQ, fire pit and seating area.
Entering the chapel leads you into a wonderful galleried entrance hall where there's plenty of space for muddy boots and coats. There's also a handy utility area. The utility room leads to a small area with a bunk bed (ideal for children) then into a large bedroom. The vaulted ceiling is a lovely feature and there are French doors opening to the courtyard. An en suite bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
At the other end, the entrance hall leads into onto 4 further bedrooms, 1 of which has an en suite shower room. All of these bedrooms have French doors leading out to a covered decking area. You will also find a modern and recently renovated family bathroom.
From the entrance hall the staircase rises to the galleried games and TV area, having a fabulous view through the full height hall window across the mid Devon countryside to Exmoor. Through double doors there is a spectacular open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area with a large log burner for cosy evenings in with your group. This is a fantastic double height space with three sets of French doors opening to a large balcony with stunning views of Exmoor and Dartmoor.
