The property is set with 15 acres of glorious gardens, located on the edge of the picturesque village of Shorwell within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is easily accessible from the main ferry ports, providing a rural escape with wonderful walking up on the Downs, close to beaches and many of the Islands attractions. The Crown Inn is located within a 5-minute’ walk through the garden and is a welcome distraction for those wanting to have a night off cooking or fancy a pint of local Goddard’s ale. The 30-foot function room can seat 40+ for dinner and can easily seat as many for workshops and presentations. There are also a number of break-out spaces located throughout the house for smaller groups and socialising. We can pass on details of local caterers and their teams to cook for you. There is plenty to entertain you on the Island, and we will also happily recommend local attractions and activities, from group cookery, shooting, kayaking, surfing, walking, cycling, fishing and sailing. High-speed fibre broadband is available via Wi-Fi in large parts of the house.
