OA Surf Club is perfect for friends and families wanting to enjoy a breakaway to a unique location where you can enjoy time together to celebrate, catch up, have fun, chill or try out surfing, bodyboarding and coasteering. At night enjoy drinks and a BBQ and check out the sunset before falling asleep to the soothing sound of the sea.

Set in 10 acres of Heritage Coast and with direct access to Wanson beach, OA Surf Club is the perfect place to spend time outdoors and feel connected to the Cornish coast and the ocean. The BBQ area, cliff-top fire pit and seating areas provide plenty of space for outdoor dining and drinking whilst enjoying fantastic views and sunsets!

There’s a dining area, TV room, bar, drying room, parking for up to 20 cars and free WiFi throughout, perfect for streaming films and staying connected.

OA Surf Club has 15 bedrooms which were all refurbished in 2021, most with sea views and sleeps up to 40 in a mixture of double, twin, bunk and single beds. Most rooms have en-suite facilities, but others have easy access to showers and WCs. There is also a laundry area and drying room for all those wet costumes, towels and wetsuits.

Breakfast is provided and we can also cater for evening meals, BBQs and lunches on request.

OA Surf Club is located in Widemouth Bay, 5 miles south of Bude. We can also offer guests with surfing lessons, stand up paddleboard (SUP) and coasteering sessions.

Not only is there a great sandy beach from where we run our surf, bodyboard and coasteering courses but also a selection of cafés, bars, pubs and shops, all within a 20-minute walk. The North Cornwall coast path runs just behind the property. A fantastic get-away location.

Bude, a consistent winner of the ‘Best UK Seaside Town’ in the British Travel Awards with its famous cricket ground, sea pool and challenging golf course, is a vibrant and bustling town with many great beaches, cafés, restaurants, bars and shops.
