Oakland West provides luxury accommodation for up to 14 guests in an exclusive area of Windermere. This holiday house in the Lake District is well suited to groups of friends and family looking to gather and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. With Windermere village only a short walk from the property, as well as many walking routes, day spas, mountain biking trails and much more close by, Oakland West is an incredibly versatile property.

On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen diner with 7 ring gas hob, twin fan assisted oven with integrated grill, 2 dishwashers, 2 Belfast sinks, microwave, Nespresso Inissia coffee machine, breakfast bar with stool seating for 6, large dining table comfortably seating 14 guests and Bose music system, along with a separate larder cupboard with two American style fridge freezers (one with integrated ice maker and filtered water). There's also a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as hanging space for your outdoor wears.

Nestle down after a day of adventure in the library-style snug with comfortable seating for 7 guests, wall mounted TV with Firestick and access to the rear terrace, or, for larger groups, the living room has comfortable seating for all 14 guests, wall mounted TV with Firestick, Stovax Studio inset wood burner (with an initial supply of logs provided September to April) and French doors leading to the enclosed garden.

There are 6 en suite bedrooms, all well designed with spacious floor plans and country-chic decors. The soft furnishings are well paired to create a sense of relaxation. On the first floor there are 3 king-sized bedrooms, 1 duplex double (shower room on the 1st floor and a private staircase leading to the 2nd floor bedroom with Velux Cabrio balcony) and 1 twin bedroom. The second floor has a quad room, sleeping guests in 4 single beds or 2 super-king beds on request.

Much of the house has stunning fell and lake views, but the enclosed garden really is where the fun begins. With outdoor seating for the entire group, charcoal BBQs in the summer months and an expanse of well kept lawn, this really is a haven for groups who enjoy being outdoors.
