Oakwood West Holidays is the perfect setting for corporate events, whether that’s for team building, client entertainment, creative strategizing or small meetings.
With 4 separate cottages all on the same site, delegates can enjoy their own space but can come together in collaborative spaces for group events and discussions. A total of 13 people can be accommodated in separate beds, with a total capacity of 20 with some sharing. Interiors are luxurious and unique, bound to get the creative juices flowing, especially Meadow Hide or Fern Lodge with their hand-painted murals of local flora and fauna. Each cottage has a private hot tub.
The dining table in Lucky’s can be extended to seat up to 16 making this the ideal setting for a team meeting. Other cottages provide breakout areas for smaller group needs. All have free WiFi available. The gardens of Lucky’s Stable and Fern Lodge, and a meadow adjacent to the cottages, can be used for a variety of team building / creativity inducing events, please enquire for details.
The outside decked entertainment area at Lucky’s is a great hub for informal discussion, sharing of creative ideas and relaxation after a full day of work. There’s a brick chimney outdoor fireplace, large BBQ, sofa seating and hot tub. Delegates can also relax at the fire pit area, enjoy al fresco yoga sessions or take part in a team badminton tournament.
The cottages are part of a larger estate which includes a 90 acre re-wilded woodland. Guided wildlife tours and Woodland Bathing can be arranged. There’s a wood fired sauna available for hire, on site during winter or in our woodland in summer. And an events barn in the woodland can be used for larger group functions and forest based team building exercises.
Local massage therapists, beauty treatments, yoga sessions, wine tasting and vineyard tours (in our local village) can all be arranged with our trusted partners. Catering can also be arranged, and there’s an informal Bar and Restaurant serving Asian street food just over the road.
Discounted rates are available for mid-week bookings between Monday and Friday.
