Octavia Hill Bunkhouse, Westerham, Kent, sleeps 6-14 in 2 bedrooms.
Octavia Hill Bunkhouse is a dormitory style converted farm building on the National Trust’s Toys Hill estate. This attractively restored dairy retains many original features, and is a fantastic base for groups of up to 14 looking for a peaceful retreat in rural Kent.
The bunkhouse is named after Octavia Hill, one of the original founders of the National Trust. She gifted the ancient woodland Toys Hill to the Trust in 1898 – and its paths and trails are still there for everyone to enjoy over a century later.
Winston Churchill’s family home, Chartwell, is just three miles away and a little further south is the Bough Beech reservoir. Westerham is close by, known as the Gateway to the Garden of England; there are lots of things to see and do in this bustling little market town.
