This charming luxury holiday cottage near Ross-on-Wye fits the bill for multi generational families, friends and special occasions. Old Barn House is conveniently located close to the Wye Valley and Hereford, with major road links including the A49 and M50 (leading to M4 and M5) handy for guests travelling from different parts of the country.

The comfortable and spacious living room to socalise and relax makes for a fantastic break away from the rat race. The hydrotherapy hot tub on the patio offers pure indulgence and opportunities to unwind whatever the season. A double hammock is a great spot to engage in some stargazing into the dark Herefordshire skies on clear nights. There is plenty of seating for everyone, both indoors and out, along with a selection of outdoor games equipment and board games for all ages to enjoy.

A fully equipped kitchen works well for preparing meals for everyone although local caterers can be hired in for an special occasion. The large oak table in the dining room is where guests will while away long evenings, sharing food and chatting while the drinks flow. The lounge is a very comfortable room with plenty of sofas, TV with Netflix and a wood effect fire - the perfect place to sit back after a big supper. The attractive entrance hallway serves as a handy area to store coats, boots and even the dog cage.

There is a ground floor accessible bedroom, a consideration for anyone less mobile. Upstairs the accommodation is very comfortable with quality furniture, individual design and pretty garden views. One of the bedrooms has an en suite and bathroom facilities are plentiful. Parking and EV point.

For any keen anglers, a short walk from Old Barn House will take you to a coarse fishing lake - complimentary for guests. This is an area rich in opportunities for outdoor pursuits, including canoeing on the River Wye or gorge walking and rock climbing. Symonds Yat down the road is a fascinating place to explore with its hand-pulled ferry across the water between 2 pubs known for providing delicious lunches. Hereford is a must visit, well known for the Mappa Mundi exhibition at the cathedral as well as a good shopping centre and lots of eateries.

Lounge has comfy sofas, Smart TV with Netflix and an electric log effect fire. There is also an additional seating area in the dining room.

There is no games room. A range of outdoor games and indoor board games are provided.

The cottage is centrally heated. There is an electric log effect fire in the lounge.

Downstairs: 1 twin/superking zip and link. Upstairs: 1 king, 1 superking and 1 twin/superking zip and link. 1 bedroom is en suite upstairs.

Linen

The bed are all ready made with Egyptian cotton sheets and each guest has two bath towels. Hypnos mattresses on all beds.

Bathrooms

Downstairs family bathroom with powerful shower. Upstairs single toilet. Upstairs en-suite bedroom with bath/shower.

Children's Facilities

1 high chair, 1 travel cot, stairgates, and plastic crockery and cutlery available on request.

Outdoor

Hydrotherapy Jacuzzi. Patio with outside seating for 8 and a gas barbecue. Large private mature garden. Double hammock. Outdoor games equipment.

There is no pool but there is a Jacuzzi hot tub.

Booking Information

30% deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. Please provide a £200 refundable security deposit. Monday and Friday changeover days. Check in at 4pm, check out by 10am.
