This gorgeous conversion is absolutely perfect for all kinds of gatherings including friends, families, girls getaways and corporate groups, either getting together for a weekend, a midweek break or a holiday. The barn is high end luxury filled with every modern convenience although traditional beams and original brick walls are a lovely reminder of its previous life as part of a working farm.

The Old Cider Press Barn has been designed for sociable open plan living with a seamless transition between the stunning kitchen, dining area and lounge. It all starts in the superb double height entrance hallway where guests can kick off their shoes and hang up coats. Not only is the kitchen fully equipped for group catering, but it also has its own cocktail bar complete with swivel stools for a drink before dinner. Sit down together to eat at one of the 3 beautiful handcrafted wooden tables in the dining area before settling down in the lounge or the old dairy snug to watch some Netflix or to catch up. And there is always the games room with a snooker table for some family fun.

Outside facilities don't disappoint either. Comfy seating next to the firepit provides more relaxation space and the twin hot tubs on the deck are clearly a top spot to unwind while the barbecue gets going. Enjoy the pretty countryside views while the kids make use of the fabulous wooden climbing frame, wall and swings.

A stunning glass staircase leads up to 8 of the 14 bedrooms at The Old Cider Press Barn, luxury stylish spaces and most with en suites. 2 kings also have Juliet balconies. The remaining 4 en suite bedrooms are on the ground floor and all have no steps French door access to the garden. The 2 doubles share an accessible wet room with a 2 way door, a consideration for anyone less mobile.

There is plenty to see in the vicinity of this lovely holiday house near the border between England and Wales, including the Norman castle at Montgomery or the National Trust Powis Castle. Shrewsbury is further afield but a lovely town full of shops and cafes, or walk along the nearby Montgomery canal.
