Property is priced for 16 people (across both houses), across 10 bedrooms.
We can sleep up to 22 including 2 single beds in the loft room.Â
Minimum: 2 nights mid-week, 3 nights W/E, 4 nights Bank Holiday W/E, 7 nights Christmas & Summer School Holidays.
Stable Cottage is only bookable with the Big House.
The Big House and Stable Cottage offer stunning interior design, gardens and grounds, perfect for a family get together or company bonding trip. Grandparents or young families can have a quiet space in the cottage.
There is a dining room table seating up to 18. The grounds are extensive and stunningly maintained with a tennis/football court, heated swimming pool (available April-Oct - weather permitting), trampoline, croquet, darts, hammocks (in summer), swings, BBQ, picnic areas, pick-your-own orchard and gardens.
It is hard to find real countryside in a location so easily accessible from London; just 1 hour by train to London Bridge Station. Waldron is perfect in every way; a lovely little village complete with walks, a great pub serving food and a church, all set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our home has 30 acres of farmland, with views to the South Downs and the sea at Beachy Head, about 30 minutes drive. Other fabulous local attractions include Goodwood Races, Bewly Water Park, South Downs National Park, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and of course Glyndebourne Opera House, just a short drive away. There are plenty of activities in the area including riding, shooting and gliding, although guests find so much to do at home they often only leave for a walk and a meal at the pub.
NB: Whilst our house is very private up a long drive, noise carries down to the village and out of respect for our neighbours we request no music after midnight and all outside music is kept to a low level at all times. This is not a party house, it is a luxury family home with precious, high quality fixtures and fittings.
