Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Old Rectory, Newport, Pembrokeshire, West Wales, sleeps 4 - 18 in 9 bedrooms.

We provide perfect facilities for your wedding stay, with accommodation overnight for up to 29 people.
Our large 1 acre Welsh garden is perfect for a marquee that can accommodate up to 150 people. You will have our entire facility all to yourselves and that is why we say you can have your wedding your way, with total privacy. We have all the resources you need, including outside catering references, and no corkage or hotel charges.

Highlights include 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 toilets and hand basins, a cosy living room with inglenook fireplace, a large workshop space (or second living room) with big bay windows, and a private 1 acre of romantic wild garden, and excellent self-catering facilities. There is sit down dining for up to 25.
The adjoining Retreat Cottage has 3 of the 9 bedrooms with an additional large open living room area that has two very comfortable double sofa beds for additional guests.
We are surrounded by an open panorama of breathtaking views which are visible throughout the house. Behind us, the enchanted Carn Ingli (Angel Mountain), and in front, Newport Bay and the Irish Sea. From your doorstep, you can explore a web of beautiful walks through sacred sites, mystical woods and valleys, rocky highlands, and, of course, the incredible Pembrokeshire coast path.

Dog Friendly

Dogs are free. 2 Garden dog enclosures but 500m off of road and safe to run in garden. Many great dog walks and beach is off leash area.

WiFi with Fibre Optic network connection available throughout the property. Several access points. We pay for the top unlimited use BT package.

Very well equipped kitchens with everything you need to cater for groups of 30+. Large range, AGA plus usual Stove. 2 kitchens, 4 fridge freezers.

Dining Room

The Old Rectory dining room seats up to 26. The adjoing kitchen can seat 4. The Cottage has a huge open Living Room for large gatherings as well.

Sitting Room

3 stunning living rooms - all with comfortable sofas and tables. A Smart TV is available in both the Old Rectory and the Cottage.

TV and Music Facilities

Smart TVs in each property. TV and games in the Huge 12 x 5 m games room with surround sound, 4 speakers and Bluetooth.

Games Room

The huge games/studio has high end table tennis table, Foosball, pool, lots of board games. It is an ideal yoga venue, well heated with fir floors.

Heating and Open Fires

Full Central heating with individually controlled radiators in bedrooms. Wood Stoves in 2 living rooms and Studio - logs provided. Programmers.

Bedrooms

6 bedrooms in the Rectory. 3 Bedrooms in the Cottage, 2 of 3 living rooms can be private bedrooms with double sofa beds. Floor plans on our website.

Linen

High quality cotton Linen and towels are provided. Non allergenic duvets and pillows, (2 per person) and extra for sofa bed use. Extra hand towels.

Bathrooms

7 bathrooms, include baths, showers, 2 ensuite, and a ground floor wet room for sand, suitable for those with limited mobility.

Children's Facilities

2 cots and 3 high chairs available. Several games, toys and books. Child gates at each section of stairs. Huge games room, 1 acre of garden,

An acre of grounds with landscaped gardens. Huge Games/Function Studio in the garden. Outdoor dining area and a 3 propane BBQs provided.

Swimming Pool

The sea is very close (0.8 km). Newport has a 1 mile long safe beach. A modern public length swimming pool, child pool, sauna, is in Fishguard.

Parking for 14 cars and car park to the south.

Smoking

No smoking please, except outside.

Booking Information

For The Old Rectory and The Cottage together, one week from £1887 to £4931. For a 2 night break out of season, from £756. Usually School Summer Holidays 1 week minimum or 3 night weekend at 85%. The Rectory and Cottage can also be booked separately. Please see our website for more information.
