Accessible bunkhouse sleeping 26 on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks walk close to Ribblehead, ideal for families
Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Old School Bunkhouse, Chapel-le-Dale, Yorkshire, sleeps 2 - 26 in 6 bedrooms.
Old School Bunkhouse is situated in the Dales National Park in the shadows of Whernside and Ingleborough. It is positioned directly on the route of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks walk and is therefore suitable for groups doing this challenge. The location is remote but has excellent road and rail access. The nearest railway station at Ribblehead is just over a mile away. Here you can also see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct.
The accommodation is ideally set up for family holiday, walking groups, groups completing the Three Peaks challenge, climbing groups or people just wanting to relax and enjoy the area. The bunkhouse is 40 metres from the nearest pub and is also a short drive away from the town of Ingleton, well regarded for its climbing wall, waterfalls walk, show cave, outdoor swimming pool and local shops and pubs. Further afield are the market towns of Hawes, Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale, the latter two offering access to supermarkets.
The fully heated accommodation is very well equipped to serve up to 26 people and has a large kitchen/diner with a separate lounge with SMART TV and assorted DVDs and books. There is a payphone at the bunkhouse but no internet or mobile phone reception. However, mobile reception can be obtained a little further up the road.
Each of the beds is supplied with mattress protector, fitted sheet, pillow and pillowcase. Duvet and duvet cover at an extra ÂŁ5pp charge, or bring your sleeping bag.
Old School Bunkhouse is a fantastic place to stay - as Phil and Kirsty would say: Location - Location - Location!
