## About The Property

Old School Bunkhouse is situated in the Dales National Park nestled between Whernside and Ingleborough. It is positioned directly on the route of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks walk and is therefore suitable for groups doing this challenge. 

The accommodation is ideally set up for family holiday, walking groups, groups completing the Three Peaks challenge, climbing groups or people just wanting to relax and enjoy the area. Youth and school groups are also welcome - and we can offer residentials including activities, transport and catering on request - please get in touch. and this is perfect as a base for team building corporate groups, with activity and catering packages available.

The bunkhouse is 40 metres from the nearest pub and is also a short drive away from the town of Ingleton, well regarded for its climbing wall, waterfalls walk, show cave, outdoor swimming pool and local shops and pubs. Further afield are the market towns of Hawes, Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale, the latter two offering access to supermarkets.

The fully heated accommodation is very well equipped to serve up to 26 people and has a large kitchen/diner with a separate lounge with SMART TV and assorted DVDs and books. There is a payphone at the bunkhouse but no internet or mobile phone reception. However, mobile reception can be obtained a little further up the road.

Each of the beds is supplied with mattress protector, fitted sheet, pillow and pillowcase. Duvet and duvet cover at an extra charge, or bring your sleeping bag.

Old School Bunkhouse is a fantastic place to stay - as Phil and Kirsty would say: Location - Location - Location! The location is remote but has excellent road and rail access. The nearest railway station at Ribblehead is just over a mile away. Here you can also see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct.

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets by arrangement, please contact the owner to discuss.
- **Accessibility:** All areas accessible except one bedroom up the spiral staircase. 4 bedrooms on ground floor. Wet room will accommodate a wheelchair.
- **WiFi:** Payphone. No mobile reception but we do have WIFI.
- **Kitchen:** 2 cookers, dishwasher, 2 toasters, 2 microwaves, fridge/freezer, fridge. Well equipped with cooking pans and utensils for large gatherings.
- **Dining Room:** Dining kitchen with seating for 26 people around 1 large table.
- **Sitting Room:** Comfortable lounge with SMART TV and free WiFi. Selection of fiction and reference books.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** SMART TV so you can log into your own on demand TV and DVD with 128 films.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout at no extra cost.
- **Bedrooms:** 6 bedrooms in total, 4 of which can be set up as family rooms with double bed and single bunk above. Also in these rooms a standard bunk bed.
- **Linen:** Mattress protectors, fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases provided. Duvet and cover can be provided at £5pp, or bring your own or sleeping bag.
- **Bathrooms:** 3 shower rooms - one is a wet room, large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chair provided
- **Outdoor:** Large car park and picnic bench.
- **Swimming Pool:** Nearest pool is in Ingleton 4 miles away - summer only. All year indoor pool in Settle 17 miles away or kendal Leisure centre.
- **Parking:** Large car park for 12 cars.
- **Smoking:** Non smoking please.
