School and youth group bunkhouse in the Yorkshire Dales sleeping 22 with instructor-led outdoor activities available
Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Old School Bunkhouse, Chapel-le-Dale, Yorkshire, sleeps 6 - 22 in 6 bedrooms.
Old School Bunkhouse is a fantastic base for youth and school group residentials. Situated in the Yorkshire Dales and on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Walk, this is a great venue to bring together groups from schools, youth organisations, Scouts, Guides, the Prince’s Trust and NCA.
Packages with activities led by a local provider can also be added. These include caving, ghyll scrambling, climbing and abseiling, and mountaineering. Also water-based activities, in the river or using inflatable kayaks. All the equipment is provided excluding footwear. The provider is fully insured and holds an AALA license. Maximum of 12 people per activity grup, with 1 teacher free for every 11 children engaged in an activity. We can also transport up to 13 people as part of the activity package.
Locations include the south Lakes for water-based activities and ghyll scrambling, abseiling at Hodge Close and Cathedral Quarry, plus climbing in the beautiful Langdale Valley.
Breakfast provisions and packed lunches can be provided. evening meals can be added if required.
Guests need to bring their own sleeping bag and towel. We provide bottom sheets and a pillow plus case. Duvets and covers can be hired for a small extra charge.
