The Outdoor Centre at Kilve Court is set to the north of the Quantock Hills in Somerset, in a National Landscape location. The centre is located in the quiet village of Kilve and it is a short walk away from Kilve's Beach (the Jurassic coast). Its location makes the centre an ideal venue as a base for walking, mountain biking and adventure groups. If you're a family group you could visit some of the local attractions like Dunster Castle, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury or Weston Super Mare which are all within 60 minutes of the centre.

The centre is comfortable, welcoming and child friendly and sleeps up to 76 people on site within 4 acres in 16 cabins. There is a large kitchen attached to a large multi purpose hall/dining room. There are male and female children's and adults showers and toilets, and there is a decent size drying room for kit. There is plenty of hard standing and grassy areas outside for you to enjoy and relax.

There is a pub and a shop in the village of Kilve, directly opposite our driveway, and the nearest supermarket is in Williton.

Dog Friendly

Pets are not allowed on site.

Disabled Facilities

One cabin, which sleeps 3, is designed with disabled access in mind. There is also disabled access to the toilets/showers and main hall.

WiFi

The centre has WiFi for guests. Mobile phone coverage is okay on some networks.

Kitchen

Modern commercial kitchen with a gas oven, 6 hobs, 2 fryers, Rational catering oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, usual kit to cater for large groups.

Dining Room

Large multi purpose hall that can seat up to 86 people, the tables can be collapsed and moved around to suit your groups needs.

Sitting Room

There is no separate sitting room, however there are sofas in the main hall to relax in plus tea/coffee making facilities and a large fridge.

TV and Music Facilities

Ceiling mounted projector and screen in the main hall and equipment/cables to play DVDs and music.

Games Room

We don't have a games room as such although we have some board games, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4 and a TV.

Heating and Open Fires

There is heating in all indoor areas. We have a camp fire within the grounds of the centre.

Bedrooms

16 cabins of which 14 have 5 beds and 2 have 3 beds in bunk bed layout. A room plan is available on request (sleeps 76).

Linen

A pillow is provided but you will need to bring your own bedding.

Bathrooms

There are separate children's and adult showers and toilets and each are marked male and female.

Children's Facilities

The Outdoor Centre is child friendly, and has giant Jenga and Connect 4 available to use (not just for children!).

Outdoor

Plenty of outside space to enjoy. We have football goals, games chest, outside sink, hosepipe, welly racks and picnic benches plus a camp fire area.

Parking

We have ample parking in our private car park for cars, vans, minibuses and coaches.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on site.

Price includes VAT.
T’s & C’s will be sent with your booking form.
A 20% deposit is needed to secure your booking.
Full payment is due 4 weeks before your booking commences.

Location

We are based in the small village of Kilve which is situated on the A39 half way between Bridgwater and Minehead. Near the north coast of Somerset and Exmoor National Park.

Bridgwater to the east and Minehead to the west are approx 12 miles away.
There is a village shop directly opposite our driveway.
The Hood Arms is next to the Village shop and is opposite our driveway.
Bristol Airport is the nearest to the centre.
Bridgwater railway station is the nearest to the centre.
Bridgwater bus station is nearest with some buses stopping in Kilve some days of the week.
