The Georgian farmhouse offers 6 bedroom/4 bathroom, large dining kitchen, and a cosy sitting room, together with a modern dining open plan kitchen and sitting area, and 4 en suite bedrooms in the barn, all set within land bordering the River Manifold.

In the middle of the Peak District, in the centre of the UK, Over Boothlow Farm is within easy distance of an overwhelming plethora of National Park attractions, with some of the most famous locations in the country, such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Bakewell, home of the famous pudding.

To the north is the ancient market town of Longnor, just 20 minutes walk away, with all the necessary conveniences including Post Office, village shop, Fish and Chip shop and a Pub "The Cheshire Cheese". Nearby in Crowdecote is a 16th century inn, The Packhorse, where the Landlord will drive you home after an evening meal.

Breathtaking views of the Staffordshire moorlands lie to the west and over the ridge to the east is the famous and unique River Dove which runs parallel to the Manifold for several miles, providing the border between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Dovedale is recognised as one of the most lovely of all Dales, immortalised by Isaac Walton in his historic book, ‘The Compleat Angler’.

Over Boothlow is just 15 minutes drive from Buxton, famous for it's Georgian and Victorian architecture which provides an impressive backdrop to a rich and vibrant range of music, theatre and festivals. In the south are numerous beauty spots including the picturesque villages of Hartington, and Hulme End,the start of the Manifold Valley scenic cycle trail.

Facilities

House: electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, larder w/fridge/freezer. Barn: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range electric cooker.
Both have dining areas in kitchen. House has table seating for 14 plus extra chairs and table. Barn has table seating for 10 plus extra table.
The house has a separate sitting room with shuttered window. The Barn is open plan. Both have comfy armchairs, settees, and stunning views.
Both have large TVs with Freeview, DVD players and a collection of DVDs. The house has a soundbar with bluetooth and a radio/CD player.
The house has WiFi and a payphone. The Barn has neither, yet. There is EE reception, but others may require a short climb up the hill.
There is no games room.
The Farmhouse has full central heating, a log burner and some complimentary logs. The Barn has underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs.
House: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 king, 1 superking, 1 twin bunk, 1 triple. Barn: 1 twin, 1 double, 1 zip-link/twin, 1 double/single, all en suite.
Bed linen and towels provided.
The house has 1 double en suite, 1 king en suite, 1 family bathroom with bath, 1 bathroom with shower. The barn are all en suite, 1 with bath.
There are no specific facilities for disabled guests.
High chairs, travel cots and stair gates. Swings and outside toys.
House has private garden with lawn, patio, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Barn has garden furniture, in grassed area with a charcoal barbecue.
There is no swimming pool.
There is adequate parking for 12 cars.
Smoking permitted outside only where there are sheltered areas.
Dogs are permitted in the house and barn on the ground floor only. There is an additional charge. There is adequate outside accommodation.
