Oxney Barns comprises 3 barns located around a courtyard garden. Recently renovated in a mix of modern and traditional styles, each barn has its own open plan central space with kitchen and sitting area. The whole group of 14 can get together in Old Barn which is the biggest property. Lovely garden and amazing views, tennis court and games room.
Little Barn: 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), 2 bathrooms. Long Barn: 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), 2 bathrooms. Old Barn: 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin), 2 bathrooms.
We have accommodation sleeping 2, 4, 6, 10 & 14 which can be rented all together to sleep 28.
Oxney Organic Estate has two groups of barns and cottages on the Estate, which is located along the banks of the river Rother (separating Kent and East Sussex, with half of the estate lying within each county), 90 minutes from London and in the gorgeous High Weald AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). This is a fabulous venue for celebrations, multi-generational family gatherings, corporate events and of course wine enthusiasts. The Barns are 15 minutes from the Vineyard House/vineyard.
Our Winery Room at the vineyard can be rented for catered private dining for the whole group using approved outside caterers, and can seat a total of 28.
The vineyard hosts tours and tastings and lunches on Saturdays, and private tours by appointment. Learn about the English wine revolution and taste our award winning wines.
At Oxney we are surrounded by small historic towns with great restaurants and shops (Rye and Tenterden), cute villages with great pubs and the beach 6 miles away.
The Vineyard House on our vineyard in Beckley sleeps 10 (or 14 with two shepherd's huts)
Vineyard House is a lovely old farm cottage with modern interior and lots of beams (warning - low ceilings and steep stairs), right next to the Vineyard with options to also rent 2 quirky shepherd's huts located in the vineyard. 5 bedrooms (3 double, 2 twin). Sleeping up to 10. Each shepherd's hut has a double bed and sleeps 2.
