## About The Property

The Palace at Osowa Sien caters to private groups looking to book exclusive stays for friends, families, and colleagues dreaming of a fairytale countryside getaway in Poland.

Originally a German aristocratic family home, the chateau was center of many parties and events - and not much has change in that regard. Ideally suited for intimate gatherings and celebrations, it has been renovated with the modern traveler in mind. The guest suites and lounges are plush while retaining classic charm through an assortment of statement pieces and velvet accent pillows and throws. 

Offering guests 12 individually-styled suites and 3 charming rooms (which leverage the Spa shower and external WC) groups of 35-40 (configuration depending) may be well accommodated here.

The suites accommodate 1-4 guests each, and sport a bedroom (or two), living room, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette/pantry, and private seating area. 11 of the bathrooms come with heated stone floors, and all suites offer individual shower, separate soaking tub, soft towels, and premium hair-care products (that are gentle and all natural).

But it isn't just the suites and rooms that guests love...

Private groups have exclusive access to the castle facilities and grounds which includes the atmospheric first-floor lounge where the Baroque-style fireplace roars; a castle tower with 360 degree views; stately kitchen, dining room, custom finish sauna, massage room and more.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** We have high-speed WiFi throughout the castle.
- **Accessibility:** None available.
- **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved doggies are always welcome for a nominal extra cleaning fee of 12 pounds / night / pooch.
- **Kitchen:** A very spacious 65 sqm. kitchen with views to the garden is available to you. As an extra service, it may be stocked with local farm-to-table goods.
- **Dining Room:** The dining room accommodates 35+ guests. The kitchen connects to both the lounge and dining room.
- **Sitting Room:** The main floor has a cosy chesterfield lounge with fireplace. Each floors and suite has additional seating areas and there are 10 smart TVs.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** We have DVD and CD players in most suites, as well as an extensive DVD library of top titles. Some suites also feature record players and typewriters.
- **Games Room:** In the first floor of the tower you may delight in a round of kicker, grab a board game, read a book, or help little ones play with various toys.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The house has a grand fireplace as well as many lovely cast iron stoves. It's heated via radiators too. Good weather? We can light an outside bonfire.
- **Bedrooms:** Most suites have both single beds and/or queen and king sized options. Just let us know who's coming, and we'll recommend the set up.
- **Linen:** Our linens are made from natural fibres, and very comfy. Hypoallergenic pillows are possible also.
- **Bathrooms:** We have a couple of public bathrooms in the cellar for ease of use when you're outside or on the 1st floor. Each suite has a private en suite.
- **Children's Facilities:** An outdoor swing, family suites, 1 games room, 2 high chairs, 3 cribs are available onsite.
- **Outdoor:** Historical garden with exotic trees (300+ years old) not to mention ample seating, barbecue, and fire pit.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no pool but there is a custom sauna ;)
- **Parking:** Parking on the property for up to 35 vehicles.
- **Smoking:** This is a non-smoking facility, though the main terrace or castle park are available for those who smoke. Ashtrays provided.

### What's Nearby?

- **Bus:** Markobus offers public and private chartered shuttle options.
- **Location:** Wschowa, a former royal city with architecture spanning from Middle Ages is now a sleeping gem located 3 km away and accessible by car or bicycle or on foot via St. James Way (pilgram route).
- **Shop:** The nearest shop is 200 m away and has all the basics from biscuits to crisps, though another is about 600 m away with a wider selection.
- **Food and Drink:** Nip over to Wschowa (3km) for burgers, pizza and sweets. Go to Włoszakowice (7km) for traditional pierogies and goulash.
- **Airport:** Both Wrocław and Poznan airports are 60 minutes away. And, for aficionados of flight and non-commercial pilots there's Leszno's private airport, about 10 minutes from the castle.
- **Train:** There's a station in Wschowa (3km), though Leszno and Głogow have more connections. Some guests cab from/to airports (WRO/POZ), as well. Cabs are 80-100 GBP each way and we're happy to help you plan.
