Enjoy affordable, comfortable accommodation on the Whiteknights Campus at the University of Reading, available from 1 July to 9 September each year.

Whether you are attending a summer school, travelling with an educational or youth organisation, visiting a conference, heading to Reading Festival, or simply looking for a convenient base to explore the area with family or friends, these modern campus rooms offer excellent value in a peaceful setting. Lectures theatres, events spaces and a number of sporting facilities are available by arrangement.

Small double en suite bedrooms are located within spacious 8 or 10 bedroom flats. Each single occupancy room includes a comfortable 4 foot wide bed with bedding provided, while every flat features a shared kitchen and dining area, making it easy for groups booking together to cook, dine and socialise in their own space. Exclusive use of neighbouring flats can often be arranged for larger groups, providing a practical and sociable environment throughout your stay.

When booking Halls accommodation with us, guests can book on a bed only basis, for bed and breakfast or for dinner, bed and breakfast. Please get in touch to discuss your group's requirements.

Everything you need is within easy reach. Guests benefit from free WiFi throughout the halls, free parking and regular bus services connecting the campus with Reading town centre and surrounding attractions. The campus also offers a convenient Co-op shop along with a range of restaurants and bars, making it easy to pick up essentials or enjoy a meal without leaving the grounds.

Set within attractive green surroundings, the Whiteknights Campus provides a relaxing environment while remaining close to local attractions, transport links and event venues. It's only a 30 minute train ride from London and close to the Chilterns and Surrey Hills for those who enjoy exploring and walking. Reading has lots of attractions including Abbey Ruins, Reading Museum and the Museum of English Rural Life.
