Bring your group together for an enjoyable and affordable stay at the University of Reading’s Whiteknights Campus, available from 1 July to 9 September each year. Designed to accommodate youth groups, educational organisations, summer schools, sports teams and residential programmes, the campus offers comfortable accommodation alongside excellent facilities in a safe and welcoming environment. The campus can accommodate both small groups and large residential programmes.

The University offers an extensive range of teaching, meeting and activity spaces across the Whiteknights and London Road campuses. Facilities include classrooms, lecture theatres, seminar rooms, breakout spaces and large halls suitable for workshops, presentations, performances and group activities. Experienced event staff are on hand to help organise every aspect of your stay, ensuring programmes run smoothly from arrival to departure.

Groups stay in modern single occupancy bedrooms within spacious 8 or 10 bedroom flats. Each apartment includes a shared kitchen and dining area where group members can prepare meals and socialise.

Flexible catering options are available to suit the needs of every group, from breakfast and packed lunches to full meal packages, making it easy to organise residential stays without the need for external catering. A Co-op shop on campus is available alongside cafes which can be visited during downtime.

Set within attractive parkland with plenty of green space, Whiteknights Campus offers a peaceful location with excellent transport links. Group members can take the bus into Reading in their free time and a trip into London is just 30 minutes on the train providing an easy opportunity to explore the city’s main attractions.
