## About The Property

Dolygaer Lodge sleeps 44 (self catering or catered)

Dolygaer Chalet sleeps 26 (self catering or catered)

Dolygaer Cottage sleeps 6 (self catering or catered)

Dolygaer is well suited to a range of groups - family weekends, friends activity trips, school and youth groups, as well as corporate team building events.

The Lodge is the biggest of the 3 accommodations with 12 bedrooms. 10 bedrooms have 2 bunk beds in each and sleep up to 4 people, the other 2 bedrooms sleep 2 (1 bunk bed) and are en suite (toilet, wash basin and shower). The rooms are split upstairs into 2 sides, red and blue, with 5 larger rooms and an en suite room on either side. Each side has toilets and wash basins. The showers are in a separate building approximately 10 metres away from the Lodge, and are split into female/male, plus a single disabled room.

Downstairs in the Lodge is a very spacious lounge/games area with low comfy seating, a giant connect 4, fuse ball and a variety of board games. There is also a projector which can be used for presentations and watching DVDs. Adjacent is a big dining area and the kitchen, manned by our chef. There is a vending machine, kettle and fridge which can be accessed and used 24/7 when staying in the lodge.

The recently refurbished Chalet has 6 separate en suite rooms. One room can sleep up to 6 people (a double/2 singles and 4 pull down bunk beds), the other 5 rooms can sleep up to 4 people (a double/2 singles and 2 pull down bunk beds). All the en suite bathrooms have a shower, toilet and wash basin. Two of the rooms are DDA compliant with wet room bathroom facilities. The communal kitchen/living area has a fully functional kitchen with a dining table and 8 chairs, and living area with 2 sofas and a TV for DVDs.

The Cottage is available on a self catering basis for additional guests.

The Centre is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, a great base for walking and activity holidays. If your group would like to take part in some organised activities, we can offer gorge walking, paddle boarding, climbing, caving, kayaking and canoeing, archery, bushcraft and many more.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are welcome in our accommodation, however there is a small charge of £5 per pet per night.
- **Accessibility:** The Chalet has 2 DDA compliant rooms.
- **WiFi:** There is WiFi in all 3 buildings. In the Lodge there is a payphone. Mobile network reception is very sparse where we are and is not guaranteed.
- **Kitchen:** Lodge has on-site chef able to cater for schools and large groups, full board, half board, breakfast or evening meal. Chalet/Cottage self catering.
- **Dining Room:** The dining room sits up to 44 people around 4 big tables. It has a vending machine, small fridge and kettle which can be used 24/7.
- **Sitting Room:** The Lodge sitting area has low comfy seats, Chalet has 2 sofas, Cottage has 2 sofas and 2 seats.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Lodge has a projector which DVDs can be watched on. Chalet and Cottage both have a TV for watching DVDs.
- **Games Room:** Our games room is located in the Lodge and has a giant Connect 4, a fuse-ball table, plus there are also a variety of board games available.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** There is an heater in each room of all 3 buildings. We can provide fire pits to be used outside the building at an extra cost of £10.
- **Bedrooms:** Lodge has 12 rooms, 2 with en suite bathroom. Chalet has 6 rooms. Cottage has 3 rooms.
- **Linen:** Bed linen and towels are provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Lodge has toilets and wash basins, and a shower block which is 10 metres away. Chalet are all en suite. Cottage has a shower room and separate toilet.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chair available.
- **Outdoor:** Barbecue can be supplied for a small charge of £10.
- **Parking:** The visitor car park is situated within a 5 minute walk from the buildings, you can unload if needed nearer to the building if staff are around.
- **Smoking:** There is no smoking in any of the buildings but is allowed outside.
