Parson House is approx 1400 ft above sea level in its own grounds, a converted sheep farm, charitable organisation (517419) which has been open for 50 years run by the same family (2nd generation) as a comfortable, good quality residential base. Built in the late 18th century and once owned by the Duke of Rutland, Parson House OPC has been converted into a beautiful stone built centre with comfort and easy access in mind. An excellent place for young children to adults - families, stag and hen groups, schools all love Parson House due to our location and atmosphere, and the centre is in an amazing geographical area for schools and field trips.
Get involved in outdoor activities during the day and party at night in the local villages, or let us take you to Sheffield city centre, a friendly and vibrant city - create a weekend to remember. Or simply come and relax in the beautiful grounds. You always get the best from us with a family feel to it.
The centre sleeps max 30 and the minimum group size is 10, whether its self catering or all inclusive. Sole occupancy is always given, and your group can hire the house for self catering, organising your own entertainment, or opt for full catering/accommodation and an outdoor programme - we can provide a high standard of accommodation and instruction, with good home cooking. Whatever you'd like, just give us a call and we will accommodate.

Facilities include a large dining room seating the whole group and kitchen, TV room, games room, drying room, tuck shop, sports hall with indoor climbing wall and large obstacle course (extra cost). Bedrooms have private bathroom facilities and vary in size, some at ground floor level. There is free WiFi available.
Stanage Edge, Lawrencefield and Burbage north and south are on our doorstep, to mention a few of the great climbing areas. For hill walking or mountain biking, you can step out of the door and you won't need your car. Or go further afield to Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and Bleaklow. Castleton boasts the beautiful caves with Blue John and visit Eyam, the plague village. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within 20 minute drive.
