Peak District Holiday Barn is a large self-catering holiday barn & cottage annex, with 9 bedrooms (7 in the barn sleeping 20, 2 in the cottage annex sleeping 4), comfortably sleeping up to 24 guests. Converted to a very high standard, the barn is the perfect venue for large groups of family and friends to stay together.
The large lounge and open plan kitchen/dining area, featuring exposed stone walls, high ceilings and timber beams, is an ideal space for a range of get togethers. The barn layout is equally suited to mid week or weekend corporate groups for training and team building events, whilst families will find the new playroom a great bonus. The barn is an excellent base for groups enjoying cycling, walking, climbing, and caving.
The barn is fully insulated with gas fired central heating throughout, with plenty of drying space for all your wet gear in the utility room. The bedrooms are a mix of king size beds, double beds and family rooms; all bed linen is provided. The barn has 5 bathrooms over 2 floors, the cottage has 2 bathrooms. The lounge features a multi fuel log burner and plenty of comfy seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, including; 2 ovens, a large gas hob, 2 sinks, a microwave, dishwasher large fridge and a freezer. The dining area has large farmhouse tables, breakfast bar and plenty of seating for 24 guests.
The outdoor facilities include 2 lawns and a covered terrace with large woodburning hot tub (available to hire) and BBQ area. There is plenty of off-road parking to the rear and front of the barn.
The playroom is adjacent to the holiday barn, and is a perfect breakout space for large groups. It includes a pool table, darts, table tennis, sofas, pizza oven, sink area and toilet. Bi-fold doors lead out onto a terrace, with plenty of outdoor tables and chairs.
A large wood burning hot tub, seating approximately 16 people, is available to hire as part of your stay. Please let us know in advance if you would like to include it in your booking. There is a charge for hire and logs.
We welcome well-behaved dogs and charge £20 per dog.
