Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Peak District Holiday Cottage, Parwich, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, sleeps 16 - 24 in 11 bedrooms.

Set in the heart of The Peak District with 70 acres of rolling Derbyshire Dales surrounding us, this outstanding ’boutique style’ corporate venue offers a private and tranquil base. Catering is available, or you may self cater if you wish.
A large, elegant dining hall with two antique tables can accommodate formal meetings during the day, and evening dining in style. There are additional “break-out” areas for smaller groups in the adjoining Annexe, also with its own kitchen facilities. Every room has been renovated to an extremely high standard providing large, open airy spaces on the ground floor, perfect for large groups of company executives. Accommodation for your group is available – an impressive stone farmhouse has 6 bedrooms and its Annexe a 3 further bedrooms, all with luxury en suite facilities.
The Lighthouse Barn provides a separate building with modern ‘state of the art’ facilities for company and corporate use. This venue has been created to provide an impressive boardroom/meeting room and separate events room/team building area. Both of these large areas have been designed to allow the maximum amount of natural light, creating an airy, uplifting environment to conduct business meetings and team building events, conferences, seminars and training events.
Peak District Holiday Cottage at Uppermoor Farm is set in a very private, prime location in central Derbyshire, yet easily accessible to nearby Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton and major road links of A50 & M1. The nearest airports of East Midlands, Birmingham and Manchester are all only approximately an hour away.
We have a large, secure tarmac car parking area, with dawn to dusk lighting, and spectacular walks right from our own front door.

Two spacious sitting rooms (one an Orangery) with charming personal touches. Ample deep seated sofas and chairs, cosy double sided wood burner stove.

Flat Screen TV, DVD player and Radio/CD Player in kitchen.

Plenty of space for outdoor activities and fun.

Heating and Open Fires

Full central heating throughout and wood burning stoves, with ample supply of logs.

Bedrooms

Luxury 4 poster bedrooms, King size double beds, 2 triple rooms, 2 twin bedded. 8 bedrooms have own luxury en suite showers.

Linen

We provide luxurious cotton bed linen and all 8 en-suites have luxurious large fluffy towels and bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries

Bathrooms

5 star and luxurious with a mix of showers and baths. 8 are en suite facilities, 1 private family bathroom with roll top bath, 1 shower/cloakroom.

Children's Facilities

Safe outdoor space. The grounds are surrounded by a dry stone wall with large lawn areas ideal for most ball games, rounders, croquet, boules, etc.

Outdoor

A choice of three rear terraces/patio, BBQs and ample comfortable garden furniture for everyone. Stunning views, and walks starting from front door.

Swimming Pool

We do not have a pool.

Parking

Ample and secure. With well lit dawn to dusk lighting to enjoy those late night strolls in the Peak District.

Our heart of England central location makes us the ideal meeting place Secluded & peaceful yet easily accessible by car to nearby Ashbourne & Bakewell

  • Matlock and Derby about 45 minutes by car. Derby being the larger has a more frequent time table.
  • Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton all a short drive away.
  • Ashbourne, Bakewell & Buxton all have a fine selection of boutiques, shops & supermarkets. Parwich Village has Pub/village store for emergency supplies. Hartington a nearby village has a wider choice.
  • Spoilt for choice, but there is a Guests Information Pack at the property complete with names & telephone numbers. Or contact us for suggestions or to pre-book for larger gatherings.
  • Manchester & East Midlands (Birmingham) each about one hour by car.
