The Peddler's Den is a beautiful refurbished granary and barn on our farm in High Marishes, North Yorkshire, where we are delighted to welcome groups of up 14. Our idyllic farm is off the beaten track, surrounded by fields and bridleways. The granary and old barns have been refurbished in 2019 to create a beautiful, tranquil space for groups getting together to enjoy each others company in a really special setting.
The Peddler’s Den has been specially designed for groups to be together in comfort and luxury. This very smart bunkhouse has 1 large room with 12 bespoke hand-crafted beds, with shower rooms leading from it. This airy space is tranquil and relaxing, as well as unusual and enchanting, with beautiful old beams and tonnes of character; this incredible old room has been brought back to life simply and stylishly.
Downstairs there's a double room with en suite which looks out onto the courtyard; this has its own entrance and is more of a secluded space.
The lounge is perfect for groups to get to together, play games, relax and unwind under the high ceilings. With a large log burning stove it makes the perfect setting to make memories and enjoy each other’s company. We have included a Smart TV in the lounge, snug and double bedroom and WiFi throughout.
The outdoor terrace is the perfect place to unwind with a drink or in our hot tub, listening to nature and admiring the views across the paddocks and beyond to the Vale of Pickering. The big skies are the perfect backdrop to sit with friends, laugh, make memories and unwind.
We have some fabulous local suppliers offering private chef experience, afternoon tea delivery, cocktail making, gin yoga and even a sexy naked life drawing chap! We have some really great extra activities that can be booked to make your stay even more fun and memorable. York is only a 30 minute drive away, as is the coast. We also have some wild activities on our door step- Go Ape arial assault course, North Yorkshire Water Park. We are also lucky to have some great pubs and restaurants in the area only a short drive away.
Ideal for hen do's, special birthdays and celebration trips as there's something for everyone!
