Penmyarth House is beautiful and romantic choice for an intimate wedding venue. The elegant drawing room can seat up to 25 of your loved ones in a magical setting that has French doors opening onto the veranda with spectacular parkland views. There is lots of space for a marquee on the lawn where the wedding breakfast can be served. Just ask the team about catering packages on offer.
The estate church is a short walk away and newly weds might choose to follow up the civil ceremony with a blessing. What could be more special? There is seating for 100 inside the church or chairs and a PA system can be added for more guests outside. There are so many photo opportunities in the stunning Glanusk grounds, gardens and lawn that couples will be spoilt for choice.
The 10 bedrooms provide convenient on site accommodation for 19 wedding guests. A combination of 4 doubles, 5 twins and a single offers flexibility and options for everyone, especially in a 3 generation family. Rooms are spacious and luxurious with stylish soft furnishings and gorgeous period feature windows looking out onto the garden below. Each one has an en suite or separate bathroom so absolutely perfect for getting ready for the main event as well as falling into bed when the revelries are over.

Cards, board games and backgammon available in the sitting room or drawing room. A set of boules and croquet equipment for outdoors.

Location

Located just a couple of hundred yards up a hill after the Estate lodge entrance off the main A40. Crickhowell is just over 5 minutes, Abergavenny and Brecon 20 minutes. M50 and M4 an hour.

There is a regular service from Crickhowell to Abergavenny. Nationwide coaches from Abergavenny.
The nearest station is 10 minutes away at Abergavenny.
Picturesque town of Crickhowell is a 5 minute drive.
Crickhowell has a butcher, grocer, bakery, newsagent, clothes and gift shops. Waitrose is in Abergavenny. Aldi, Co-op and Morrisons in Brecon.
The Estate pub, Nantyffin Cider Mill, is across the road from Penmyarth and there are numerous pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
The nearest airports are Bristol or Cardiff, both 1 hour 20 minutes away. Birmingham Airport is just under 2 hours.
