## About The Property

The Penstar Bunkhouse was converted from an old barn during the summer of 1996 by the Powell family who have had the farm since 1918. On a working farm, the site provides access directly to the Brecon Beacons and to Brecon via the Taff Trail, a recently established long distance walk route.

The Bunkhouse is a self-catering facility and Penstar is ideally located to accommodate groups requiring a wide range of activities without having to travel too far each day. Pen-Y-Fan (886m) and Corn Du (873m) are the highest summits in the National Park and are directly accessible from Penstar.

Penstar has 3 bedrooms sleeping 20 in total, a large living space with room for everyone to eat together, a well equipped kitchen, and underfloor heating throughout. A drying room is available to guests.

Penstar can be used for family parties, hen or stag weekends or just a few friends to get together. There is a wide range of activities locally. There are supermarkets and shops, a number of pubs and restaurants if you do not feel like cooking, or you can get a take-away and a few beers to have at the bunkhouse. We have a barbecue with seating outside and a super view of Pen-Y-Fan.

There is also camping available next to the bunkhouse. So come and relax at Penstar bunkhouse.

- **Swimming Pool:** No, but there is a leisure centre in Brecon.
- **Parking:** Ample parking.
- **Smoking:** Outside only please.
