Pickwell Manor is a Grade II-listed house just a 20-minute walk to the coast in 6 acres of flourishing, country grounds. Dating back to the 10th century and with a mention in the ancient Domesday Book, it has a truly legendary past. Now lavishly updated and with a wholesome sense of whimsy, it's a memorable Devonshire setting for all the family. Grown-ups will love its unadulterated splendours including a 6 person private hot tub set in woodland, while children will thrive in its sense of adventure.
The Apartments at Pickwell Manor feature a blend of period glamour, natural beauty and chic and coastal vibes. Placed in the grand main house or in the surrounding gardens, they each have stunning rural vistas and ocean backdrops.
Apartments are stylish and boast a timeless attention to detail basking in soft Farrow & Ball shades and luxurious lines. Kitchens are well-equipped and ready to cook up a feast, while living rooms have plump sofas looking out across country scenes.
The 3 biggest apartments are in the main manor house and sleep between 7 and 10 people in 3 or 4 sumptuous bedrooms. In keeping with their historic past and massive proportions, they have impressive original features and soaring high ceilings. Expect plenty of vintage antiques and elegant touches, along with crackling open fires and mullioned windows.
Also in the manor house is the glorious Ballroom and snug. The expansive space of the Ballroom means you can live, eat and celebrate together whilst still having plenty of space to escape to should or when you need it.
