Pickwell Manor is a Grade II-listed house just a 20-minute walk to the coast in 6 acres of flourishing, country grounds. Dating back to the 10th century and with a mention in the ancient Domesday Book, it has a truly legendary past. Now lavishly updated and with a wholesome sense of whimsy, it's a memorable Devonshire setting for all the family. Grown-ups will love its unadulterated splendours including a 6 person private hot tub set in woodland, while children will thrive in its sense of adventure.

The Apartments at Pickwell Manor feature a blend of period glamour, natural beauty and chic and coastal vibes. Placed in the grand main house or in the surrounding gardens, they each have stunning rural vistas and ocean backdrops.

Apartments are stylish and boast a timeless attention to detail basking in soft Farrow & Ball shades and luxurious lines. Kitchens are well-equipped and ready to cook up a feast, while living rooms have plump sofas looking out across country scenes.

The 3 biggest apartments are in the main manor house and sleep between 7 and 10 people in 3 or 4 sumptuous bedrooms. In keeping with their historic past and massive proportions, they have impressive original features and soaring high ceilings. Expect plenty of vintage antiques and elegant touches, along with crackling open fires and mullioned windows.

Also in the manor house is the glorious Ballroom and snug. The expansive space of the Ballroom means you can live, eat and celebrate together whilst still having plenty of space to escape to should or when you need it.

Fill your days with endless adventures, exploring Devon and its wild, natural treasures. Putsborough's windswept sandy beach is just a 20-minute walk away, while Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton have some picture-perfect bays. Build sandcastles on the beach and go surfing in the waves, or bring your mountain bikes and follow the famous Tarka Trail.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** WiFi is available throughout the property as well as good mobile and 4G coverage.
- **Accessibility:** No specific facilities. Not suitable for wheelchair users due to the age and style of the building.
- **Dog Friendly:** 2 dogs accepted in Grace apartment.
- **Kitchen:** All are well equipped.
- **Dining Room:** The Ballroom can easily seat 30 people whilst also keeping a lounge area by the fire.
Grace seats 12, Affinity and Bliss 10 and the Chapel 2.
- **Sitting Room:** Ballroom and Grace have seating areas around large wood fires, Affinity and Bliss are large and open plan. All have TVs other than the Ballroom.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Digital radios, TVs and DVD players are available in all the apartments.
- **Games Room:** The games room is a separate building from the main house and is packed with books, games, toys, table tennis, table football and more.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The Ballroom and Grace apartment both have large wood burning fires and there is central heating throughout.
- **Bedrooms:** Superkings, zip/link king or twins, kings, single beds and a further 2 day beds. Several have en suite facilities.
- **Linen:** All bed linen is Egyptian cotton and each guest will have a bath sheet and hand towel.
- **Bathrooms:** Grace: 1 wet room, 1 en suite, 1 family bathroom.
Affinity: 1 family bathroom, 1 en suite.
Bliss: 1 shower room, 2 en suites.
Chapel:
- **Children's Facilities:** Travel cots are available on booking.
- **Outdoor:** 6 acres of grounds with 2 woods, a campfire, barbecue, pirate island, tennis court, croquet, giant chess and animal area. Hot tub set in the woods.
- **Parking:** There are 9 car parking spaces assigned to this collection of apartments.
- **Smoking:** No smoking in the property and only in designated areas outside.

## Booking Information

- Your apartments will be ready on the day of arrival by 4pm, departure time is by 6pm on Sunday. All bookings are confirmed only when the deposit has been paid. A security deposit will be required and paid back to the organiser after departure, should funds not be needed for any damages.
