The Pines House is a large ten bedroom Victorian villa, which accommodates 20. It occupies an idyllic location on the edge of Grantown on Spey, with town amenities only a short walk away. The house immediately backs on to the beautiful Anagach Woods, where guests can enjoy a variety of walking routes. The house is the ideal location for exploring the Highlands with the Cairngorm mountains, Aviemore and the A9 only a 15 minute drive away.
The Pines House has ten well proportioned bedrooms, eight have en suite bath or shower rooms and one other room is immediately adjacent to the family bathroom. The bedrooms are a mixture of doubles, kingsize/twins, with one triple bunk room. One generous sized en suite bedroom is located on the ground floor - contact us to discuss disabled access requirements.
The house has two large formal lounges with open fires and a family room, which adjoins an open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen design incorporates two sinks, two fridges/freezer, a large breakfast bar, dining table and features a range cooker with induction hob, a plate warmer, a commercial dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a formal dining room which seats up to 20. The drying/boot-room has ample hanging/storage space for coats/shoes/buggies/luggage.
There is also a spacious games room with table football, toys, dressing up clothes and books in abundance. All the bedrooms have TVs and hairdryers etc. Oil, electricity, coal, high quality towels and linen are all included in the rental cost. High chairs and cots are also available. There is free wi-fi access, CD and DVD players and a library of music and films as well as books and games for you to enjoy.
The Pines House has a large, peaceful and enclosed mature garden, which has its own private woodland and kids play area. The garden activities include a giant playframe, swings, gym bars, 14ft trampoline and all weather table tennis table. From the seating/BBQ area guests can watch red squirrels and other wildlife. The gate at the end of the garden leads directly into woods and on to the Speyside Way, with many miles of footpaths and cycle trails.
