Pinkery is Exmoor National Park Authority’s Centre for Outdoor Learning and an integral part of the Learning and Outreach work that ENPA undertakes.

At Pinkery we are very proud of what we offer and hope to make the process of booking your stay with us simple and straightforward so that you are able to maximise the potential of your visit. Pinkery has been operating as an Outdoor Learning Centre for residential experiences since 1969 and has undergone many changes in that time, improving the facilities and the package that we offer. We are always looking to further develop the experience that we provide to visiting groups so please always ask for updates to what we are doing or amendments to meet your specific requirements.

Pinkery is about providing an experience where everyone can grow, where there is the opportunity to explore and develop and create new memories that have a lifelong impact. Through our qualified teachers we are able to link our programmes to the National Curriculum and provide an extraordinary experience.

Facilities

Dog Friendly

Pets are allowed so long as they are kept to the hard floor areas.

Disabled Facilities

One bedroom is suitable for disabled access and the majority of the property is accessible, with the exception of the upstairs classroom.

WiFi

There is no mobile reception within the building though this can be accessed up hill behind the Centre but WiFi is available in all common areas.

Kitchen

2 domestic electric electric oven and 5 ring induction hob. Microwave, 2 fridge freezers, toaster, pans and crockery to suit 32. Tea towels.

Dining Room

There is seating for up to 32 people. Please feel free to arrange the tables in whatever configuration suits you best.

Sitting Room

There is seating for up to 32 people on easy chairs with coffee tables.

TV and Music Facilities

There is a TV in the classroom and projector in the Lounge.

Games Room

This doubles as a classroom.

Heating and Open Fires

A Biomass boiler supplies our heating as part of our climate commitment and we also have 2 small wood burners for guests to enjoy

Bedrooms

8 dorm rooms with either 4, 5 or 6 bunks in each, all en suite.

Linen

All bed linen except towels is provided.

Bathrooms

All bedrooms are en suite with each room having its own shower.

Children's Facilities

No additional equipment is supplied but we are a very child friendly building.

Outdoor

Outside is the open moorland where you are free to roam!

Parking

Our private car park is large enough for 15 cars.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the property.

Booking Information

Payment will need to be a 25% deposit paid to secure the booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. We operate a £200.00 damage deposit for a stay and all prices are based upon up to 16 staying. Additional guests are charged at £18.00 per person per night
