Pipistrelle Lodge at The Mulberry Bush offers 11 twin rooms sleeping 22, most of them overlooking our private meadow. Located 20 minutes' drive from Cheltenham Racecourse and Evesham-in-the-Vale, the lodge is the ideal base for walking or cycling the Cotswolds, larger family gatherings, reunions and retreats or business group team building events. This venue is not suitable for stag or hen parties.
Additional rooms (in a separate building) sleeping up to 6 more guests are available on request.
The lodge has a small kitchen suitable for making basic meals, teas, coffees, and snacks. A large, fully equipped kitchen and dining room are available in an adjacent building, so you can fully self-cater and share meals together.
The lodge has a small private lounge with French doors which open straight out onto the meadow, providing instant access to our extensive green space.
There's a large yurt that can be used for eating, socialising, enjoying the log burner or as an alternative place to sleep if you fancy a change from your bedroom. The three-acre grounds include a fire pit and large open spaces for games and time together outdoors.
We offer the lodge for private hire to raise funds for our charitable work with children troubled and traumatised in childhood. In line with our charity’s aims, we welcome any group focused on community, family, wellbeing, or taking a breather.
People who work for the charity will be on site during weekday daytimes, and you might see them in the larger kitchen and dining area during these times, but at weekends you’ll have the place to yourselves. It’s quiet, secluded and you won’t be disturbed in the accommodation.
