It can accommodate up to 28 people in 14 en suite bedrooms. The Lodge is the perfect venue for various group holidays including family get-togethers, friend's reunions and groups with a special interest such as ramblers and classic car enthusiasts. Please note the lodge is not a party venue and we do not allow wedding receptions or entertainment of any kind. This former hotel has been newly refurbished to an excellent standard and provides the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The bedrooms are all of a good size, each with private en suite facilities. There is a spacious but cosy lounge area with wood burning stove, comfy leather sofas and a well stocked library. The piano/TV room is a real treat with 50in TV, DVD player and baby grand piano for guests to play. Central to downstairs is a large reception hall where groups can meet up ahead of excursions out. Guests benefit from the use of an excellent well-equipped kitchen and store room. A highlight of the lodge is the grand dining room with its long table that can seat up to 28 people. For those wishing to dine out there is a great array of dining options to suit all tastes within the Ceiriog Valley and surrounding area. Outside areas include an under cover decking area and an all-weather lawned area with plenty of rattan style furniture - perfect for enjoying al fresco refreshments. To the side of the Lodge is a large car park with ample parking space. The area that surrounds Glyn Ceiriog has a wealth of interesting sites and attractions. There is a fantastic selection of walks to be enjoyed both in and around the Ceiriog Valley. Other activities in the local area include trout fishing, pony trekking, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. For the more adventurous types there is white water rafting on the river Dee, gorge walking near Llangollen and a variety of water-sports on Lake Bala. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Unfortunately pets are not permitted at Plas Ceiriog. - **Accessibility:** The lodge has one downstairs bedroom. There is downstairs disabled-access toilet. - **WiFi:** Free WiFi throughout the lodge is provided. - **Kitchen:** Spacious well-equipped kitchen and store room containing dishwasher, 2 ovens/grills, 2 microwaves, 2 kettles, 2 toasters. - **Dining Room:** A highlight is the grand dining room with its long table that can seat up to 26 people. An additional table and chairs can be utilised. - **Sitting Room:** There is a spacious and cosy lounge area with wood burning stove, comfy leather sofas and a well-stocked library. - **TV and Music Facilities:** The Piano/TV room is a real treat complete with its own baby grand piano for guests to play. 50 inch flat-screen TV, DVD player and DVD library. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil-fired central heating throughout. The lounge has a wood burning stove with ample supply of logs. - **Bedrooms:** 12 double BR with en suites on 1st floor: 4 twin, 8 doubles (mix of king size and super king size). 2 ground floor double room. 3 z-beds upon request. - **Linen:** Fresh bed linen and towels are provided. - **Bathrooms:** All bedrooms have their own private en suite bathrooms. Most have a bath and overhead shower. - **Children's Facilities:** A high chair and travel cot are available upon request. - **Outdoor:** All-weather lawned area with stylish rattan furniture, perfect for enjoying alfresco refreshments. Covered decking area with BBQ and seating. - **Parking:** There is a large car park to the side of the lodge with ample parking space. - **Smoking:** Plas Ceiriog is a non-smoking property.
