Polyn is a lovely family holiday house located in the waterside village of Mylor Bridge and with direct access to Mylor Creek. It's a popular choice with water sport enthusiasts and sailors, offering direct boat launching from the steps down and only a short drive to Mylor Harbour. Falmouth is around 15 minutes away.
With a fabulous south facing patio and balcony, guests can sit back and take in the creek views day or night, watching the boats and listening to the tinkling masts. Launch paddle boards and kayaks from the bottom of the garden.
On the lower ground floor is an impressive open plan living area with a bright and airy lounge diner, doors opening onto the patio and the outside picnic benches perfect for barbecues. The adjoining kitchen has everything needed to prepare a group meal including a range cooker, 2 ovens and a dishwasher as well as stools at a breakfast bar. One of the bedrooms is on the lower ground floor, a super king with its own shower and WC facility. It also has French doors opening onto the terrace. The other bedrooms are upstairs with the master room having an en suite and direct access to the balcony. One of two twins has access to the balcony and fantastic views, a great spot for the first cup of coffee.
Polyn is all about its location, offering a direct route onto the South West Coastal Path and water access. For eating out, try the 13th century Pandora Inn, which serves great food and fish straight from the boat. Falmouth is worth a visit - try the National Maritime Museum or take a wander around the charming streets filled with specialist shops, restaurants and places to pick up any marine supplies needed. It's known as the sailing capital of Cornwall with a deep water natural harbour perfect for cruisers and race boats.
