This holiday venue near the Norfolk Broads is a great choice for extended family and friends to get together for a holiday or weekend away to celebrate a special occasion on the outskirts of beautiful Norwich in Norfolk. Poolside Lodges is a mini private resort with 3 properties shared between 10 guests, private hot tubs and a shared swimming pool - a good choice at any time of year with access to many local family attractions and beaches not too far away.
The larger lodges are perfect for families, each with 2 bedrooms, whereas Palm View is ideal for a couple or grandparents who want to be part of the fun but would welcome a little peace. Each has been designed with open plan living to create a feeling of space and sociability. Kitchens come fully equipped for group cooking and there's a dining area inside each lodge for the number of guests it sleeps. If the group wants to eat together, set to work on the barbecue and gather at the outside seating poolside. What could be better on a summer evening.
The highlight for the children will be the seasonal pool, open between May and September, while the adults may head to the private hot tubs for an indulgent treat. And there's a shared games room for everyone to enjoy too.
The bedrooms are configured as doubles or twins, ideal for a mixed group. All comfortable rooms with attractive soft furnishings, and each lodge has a shared family shower room.
The city of Norwich is a short drive from Poolside Lodges, with impressive city gates, a castle museum and Medieval cathedral. Elm Hill has interesting shops, there's an award winning outdoor market and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Horsey Gap beach plays host to a seal colony or there's a sandy beach at Winterton-on-Sea. Take a boat trip from Horning to Ranworth to sample the Norfolk Broads by paddle steamer.
