Portland Outdoor Centre, Castletown, Isle of Portland, Dorset

Sleeps 15 - 60 13 Bedrooms 60 Dining

Catered adventure centre on Portland sleeping 60 with activities, for fun hen and stag weekends, families and team building

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Portland Outdoor Centre, Castletown, Isle of Portland, Dorset, sleeps 15 - 60 in 13 bedrooms.

Welcome to Portland Outdoor Centre, a residential Outdoor Adventure and Field Studies Centre based on Portland at the heart of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.

The Centre is perfectly set up for large groups, stag or hen dos (please ask about our Ultimate Stag and Hen Do packages), family get-togethers and friends reuniting, as well as school and youth groups, corporate groups or anyone looking for a challenge!

We are lucky to have this beautiful Victorian hotel in which we can host up to 60 people across 13 large, light and spacious dorm-style rooms sleeping 6, 4 or 2 each (bunk beds). The accommodation is spread across 2 floors, with each floor able to be self contained for a smaller group. For a large group, exclusive use of the whole building is an option. Alternatively why not book a few dorms for your group's private use while sharing the communal facilities with other guests.

On the ground floor there's a handy classroom, a soft play area (for under 3s) and the Dorset Adventure Cafe which offers a wide selection of food and drinks. The Cafe provides catering for guests at the Centre, with a range of catering options to take the stress away from your trip. Please note that the Cafe is open to the public during the day. On the first floor there is also a common room with sofas, chairs and tables.

As an Outdoor Centre we have a team of highly qualified staff that can take you and your group out to really enjoy this Island. Whether it's coasteering, climbing, abseiling, kayaking or journeying around the Harbour that takes your fancy, we can create an activity programme tailored to your needs.

The Centre is located perfectly to enjoy Portland and its many wonderful features, and only a short walk from the National Sailing Academy. Did we mention the sea views?

We look forward to welcoming you.
