Prince Hall, a large holiday house near Princetown on Dartmoor, offers the perfect private location for a family gathering, group celebrations, retreats, hens and stag do's. Whatever your plans or your event, Prince Hall provides home from home comforts in the stunning Devon countryside. With a setting in the middle of Dartmoor National Park, there are many amazing views to enjoy right from the door - also take 5 and enjoy our amazing night sky - with no street lights or other houses around, lie on the lawns and take in the Milky Way and night sky as you never have before.

Sleeping 18, the house offers 9 large, stylish en suite bedrooms, one with a four-poster, all named after Dartmoor tors, which you can look up and walk during your stay (if you choose). All bedrooms, spread over 2 upper floors, have en suite bathrooms, flat screen TV and a hair dryer, the house also offers a Infra red Sauna, and gym.

On the ground floor there's a large dining room for celebration dinners, a relaxing lounge with TV and games and large sofas to gather in with your group and a games room with a pool table, table tennis, darts and more. A large and fully equipped kitchen has all you need to cater for your group should you want to dine in. Alternatively, there are many wonderful local inns for dining out, or we have a chef who can cater for a special dinner on request - please take a look at our website for in house catering ideas and local offerings.

Outside you get to enjoy the private gardens along with the hot tub - and a large outside seating area and outside kitchen with pizza oven and grill.

Pleanty of outdoor space for games and relaxing, private parking too.

Facilities

Dog Friendly

We welcome up to 6 dogs here for a fee of £50 per stay - we ask you to be mindful of our house and clean up after your dog. Damages are chargeable.

One ground floor room with a walk in shower for easy access.

Outside hot tub with amazing views of the rolling Dartmoor landscape

Free WiFi (although intermittent due to our location). 4G works well.

Kitchen

Fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with American fridge freezer, gas range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and crockery and cooking equipment.

Dining Room

Large and relaxed dining room which can seat up to 18. The Coaching House can seat up to 60 and outside dining can seat 18.

Sitting Room

Electric fires and large sash windows in lounge with comfortable large armchairs and sofas with a small library and board games and large TV with DVD.

TV and Music Facilities

Flat screen TVs in each of the 9 en suite bedrooms with Freeview TV. Large flat screen TV in the lounge.

Games Room

There is a pool table, darts board, table tennis table and selection board games.

Heating and Open Fires

Electric fire in the lounge for heat and effect (we are trying to be as eco as possible here at PH). Central heating throughout the building.

Bedrooms

9 en suite bedrooms with a variety of super king, king and double beds. One ground floor room with a walk in shower (All rooms are large!).

Linen

White cotton bedding and white fluffy towels and a hand towel are provided in each room, and towels for the hot tub are provided.

Bathrooms

7 rooms have baths with showers over and 2 rooms have walk-in showers only.

Children's Facilities

Travel cots and high chairs available - however we recommend bringing yours along with you. Large outdoor area so we recommend you bring welly boots.

Outdoor

Large open garden which is surrounded by moorland farm and Dartmoor's rolling hills. Barbecue/dining area with fire pit as well as 6 person hot tub.

Swimming Pool

Sadly no pool but we do have the River West Dart if you fancy some wild swimming! And a hot tub.

Parking

Plenty of private car parking.

Smoking

Strictly no smoking, vaping or use of e-cigarettes inside this property.

Booking Information

Minimum 3 night stay (during high season 1st May until 31st October), 2 night stays are welcome outside of this time – Early/late check in/out at £120/hr if booked.
Deposit of £600 required to secure booking, full balance amount 21 days prior to arrival. Damage deposit of £500 due the week before arrival (refundable 48 hours after departure if house has been left as per T&Cs).

In a rural setting in the heart of Dartmoor National Park in Princetown, Devon. Easy to access major road routes from Plymouth or Exeter.

Tavistock is the nearest old market town with local wares on offer every day bar Mondays.
There is a local Post Office/Londis in the small village of Princetown, closest supermarket is in Tavistock.
On site, but there are many local inns in the surrounding area.
Exeter airport and Bristol airport.
Newton Abbot, Plymouth, and Totnes.
The largest bus station is Plymouth but there is also a station in Tavistock.
