This ancient farmhouse dating back to the period of the Domesday Book, in a beautiful position with fields leading to the River Exe. The lovely accommodation is furnished to a good standard and is spacious, perfect for large families groups for holidays and celebrations.

With a newly refurbished farmhouse kitchen there is a Rayburn and an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave.

Two lounges offer large groups lots of space and a formal dining room is perfect for celebration diners allowing up to 22 people to be seated together.

Fully equipped the house also has an utility room with washing machine a playroom with pool table; as well as a private garden with BBQ facilities and garden furniture.

The Priory has 8 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms en-suite & 1 with basin, 1 bedroom with 4 single beds, 2 double with 1 extra single bed, 1 double with 2 single beds, 1 double & 2 twin bedrooms. There is also a twin en-suite on the ground floor.

Less than 2 miles from Bampton the Priory is ideally located for exploring this superb area close to the Exmoor National Park and the Devon/Somerset border.

Tiverton (7 miles away), NT Knightshayes Court is 6 miles, Minehead is within 20 miles for sandy beaches and family attractions. The historic cathedral city of Exeter, home to a Maritime Museum, theatre and boasts a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants, within 20 miles.

No groups of solely under 25 year olds.

Taunton, Ilfracombe, Sidmouth, Seaton and Exmouth are all within easy driving distance. Golf, fishing and horse riding can be found locally.
