Come to The Quackery, a beautifully presented holiday house and annexe sleeping 11, and experience the timeless charm and tranquility of the Somerset countryside. The house welcomes multi-generational families, groups of friends, walkers and cyclists.

Surrounded by attractive gardens, the house enjoys a quiet location with plenty of interesting places to visit easily accessible.

The Quackery has various places for getting together with your group. The large inviting living room has comfortable sofas, a log burner and great garden views. The Aga makes the kitchen/breakfast room a welcoming space and there's a dining area for the whole group.

Outside, the verandah is a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee and al fresco dining. The secluded barbecue area also has a pizza oven. And there's a hot tub for pure relaxation.

Numerous toys and games are available, including a trampoline, hammock, croquet, badminton net, boules set and giant Jenga.

Fabulous, fully equipped, good cupboard space, granite worktops, breakfast bar, Aga, electric oven, American style fridge freezer, superb dining area.
Dining table and breakfast bar in the kitchen diner. Kitchen has fabulous wooden floor throughout , with electric oven and an Aga for home cooking.
Large, inviting, bright room, wonderful garden views. Magnificent hamstone fireplace comfortable sofas, widescreen TV. Log burner for winter use.

Good internet connection throughout.
There is no games room.
Log burner in sitting room. Log burner in annex. Central heating.
4 spacious bedrooms (1 superking, 2 king, 1 double + extra single in one) in main house, all very comfortable beds. Massive en suite king in annexe.
Fresh attractive sheets and bedding throughout.
Family bathroom with bath, loo and basin. 2 en suite shower rooms, each with a spacious walk-in shower. En suite in annexe.
We have hosted disabled guests on previous occasions. They have found the accommodation to be quite suitable. Please contact us.
Numerous children’s facilities from cycling, fishing in ponds, playing in large gardens, trampoline. Horse riding can be arranged locally.
Fabulous hot tub, barbecue area, pizza oven, hammock, sun loungers and beautiful peaceful gardens throughout. Verandah by house for al fresco dining.
There is no pool.
Plenty of space at all times.
We do not allow smoking in the house.
Pets are normally allowed subject to prior arrangement.

The pretty town of Langport has shops, bars and restaurants, and a stroll along the River Parrott. The Somerset levels are easily reached. Countryside and pub walks in every direction.
Tesco’s or Shires Garage in Langport. Most large supermarkets will deliver.
Halfway House in Pitney and Black Swan in Langport.
