And the setting is very handy for all Sheringham amenities including supermarkets, beaches and places to eat out, all within walking distance.
The kitchen comes fully equipped for preparing group meals and there's a long sociable dining table inside where everyone can eat together. On sunny days, dine al fresco on the deck and soak up the impressive sea views. Relax after dinner on the comfortable sofas in the lounge area or gather in the games room for pool or table football, also an alternative space for the youngsters. Up to 2 small dogs are welcome at this house, in a prime location for lovely long walks on the coastal path or dog friendly East Beach.
Bedrooms are configured flexibly as twins, queens or bunks. 2 queen rooms have direct access to a bunk room, ideal for a young family. Most have big windows overlooking the sea. There are 2 family bathrooms and a separate shower room.
The centre of the town of Sheringham is a 5 minute walk from Queen Mary House, with a traditional seaside vibe and an award winning blue flag beach for family days on the sands. Wander along the promenade, take in beautiful views and the colourful beach huts, and stop off for a coffee or lunch. There are several independent shops, and a museum which tells the story of the town's history. Cromer is another North Norfolk highlight, around 10 minutes away and with Victorian architecture, golden sands and lush green cliffs. The whole north coast is dotted with numerous villages, spectacular beaches, seal-watching opportunities, and plenty of eateries to choose from. Or head inland to Norwich, Sandringham or the many other stately homes of the county.
