If you like to holiday as a family or a group but still want to have your own space, somewhere you can close the door after a long day relaxing, then Quinta Agave is perfect for you.

The property has been described by guests as very gite-like in its appearance and they feel instantly at home. We have tried to retain the typical Portuguese feel to the property but understand there needs to be a certain level of comfort so the cottages have a slight contemporary twist.

Set in 3 acres of land and surrounded by open countryside, Quinta Agave is situated on private land, 8 km from Lagos and 3 km from the beautiful beach of Burgau. It is just a 5 minute walk to Almadéna village with its restaurants and cafés.

Once a working farm, Quinta Agave has been converted to 6 self catering apartments and an annex which form an "L" round the large outdoor pool. There is an acre of lawn for you to play on with a variety of plants and trees. We have a working well that dates back to Roman times, but you must ask to see this as it is under lock and key.

The property offers a high degree of seclusion and security making it ideal for families and larger groups. There's a large barbecue area, seating for 20 people and communal kitchen shaded by flowering vines and trees for informal get-togethers. This area is covered in fairy lights and comes alive at night.

All apartments have access to the communal kitchen for cooking but there are microwaves, fridges, toasters and kettles in all cottages. The studios have small kitchenettes and all the other apartments have kitchens.
