This stunning Andalucian holiday villa near Marbella guarantees lots of rest, relaxation and fun for multi generation families and friends wanting a holiday in this popular yet select part of Spain. It's also available for wedding celebrations for up to 60 (extra charge applies) and is a great small retreat venue. Quinta las Colinas really does have it all, with a free form pool, a mini bar, tranquil lake views and a mountain backdrop. And it's within 15 minutes of some of the best beaches in the Costa del Sol, including Puerto Banus and Marbella.

The villa sits around a traditional central courtyard with sculptures, a pretty fountain and tower, surrounded by mature gardens with lawns. The roof terrace with balcony overlooking the lake is a highlight, perfect for outside dining and relaxing on comfortable lounge furniture under the welcome shade of the house. A large 20m x 8m pool is bound to be an essential focus for the vacation complete with a sun terrace and plenty of loungers.

The inside living design is mainly open plan with beautiful arched windows and cool terracotta tiled floors linking a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting room. There is enough room to cook together sociably, or hire in outside caterers or try one of a number of recommended of village restaurants. The 5 bedrooms are spacious, doubles or twins, and all with heating and air conditioning making Quinta las Colinas a year round destination. The wood burner in the lounge is lovely on cooler evenings too.

A stroll into Istan is essential, a typical pretty Spanish small town with amazing views over Embalse de la Concepción and fantastic tapas menus at a number of lovely restaurants. Wine tasting is available nearby. For guests wanting some adventure, hire a canoe or kayak and explore the many coves on the lake below the villa, or hike up La Concha for even more spectacular views. A short drive takes you to the cobbled streets of Marbella Old Town or Puerto Banus where lots of celebrities take holidays too. Fuengirola is a seaside town, with an Aqua Park for a family day out.
