## About The Property

This is a great base for exploring the adventure capital that is the Snowdonia National Park. Rhiw Goch Bunkhouse is a fantastic discovery for all kinds of friends and family groups including mountain bikers and walkers as well as school and youth groups. Located just a very short drive from the A470, this is a popular destination for those meeting from different parts of Wales, and the north west, and for those looking for a base for an adventure in Snowdonia. Guests can make the most of the amazing backdrop of the Rhinog Mountains and experience the changing of the seasons from a magnificent viewpoint at the top of the village. Oh, you can also take up to 2 dogs. Dog walking area near by.

Facilities inside the bunkhouse are of a good standard. The lounge area has plenty of leather sofas, 2 TVs and a DVD player, the perfect place to unwind together after a long day of activities. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, 2 cookers and a microwave. There is inside dining for all plus an outside barbecue space with picnic benches for eating outdoors as well as a covered verandah. There is a good sized drying room and lockable bike shed at the rear of the building, both are a great bonus for hikers and cyclists.

The comfortable dorm style accommodation sleeps up to 20, and is configured as 5 bedrooms sleeping 4 in each, all are 3 foot bunk beds. There is no minimum number of guests. Beds are made up on arrival, but please provide your own personal towels. There are ladies and gents shower rooms with WCs and basins in each as well as an extra WC next to the kitchen.

Coed Y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre is a 2 mile drive away and offers various trails, suitable for all ages and levels of ability. There are beaches at Barmouth, Aberdyfi and Black Rock Sands, and all have expansive sands with safe swimming. Good access to the Wales Coastal Path from all beaches.

In well under an hour some of the best thrill-seeking experiences in the whole of the UK can be reached at Zip World, Surf Snowdonia and Go Below Underground Adventure in Betws Y Coed.

And of course climbing Snowdon is a definite must on anyone's bucket list.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** Good mobile coverage. No WiFi, but is available at on-site bar.
- **Accessibility:** There is wheelchair access into the bunkhouse but more restricted into the bedrooms. There is a disabled toilet.
- **Dog Friendly:** Up to 2 dogs allowed. Between £25 & £40 per stay. They need to be kept on a lead at all times, but very welcome. Please bring bedding and bowls.
- **Kitchen:** The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large fridge freezer, 2 cookers and 2 microwaves, and pots and pans. Washing up essentials are provided.
- **Dining Room:** Seated dining for all guests. Outdoor benches in BBQ area. Covered verandah at front of bunkhouse with level access to the car park.
- **Sitting Room:** Plenty of comfy leather sofas in lounge area. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player. Good sized living room with seating for 20 people.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV and DVD player in the lounge area.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room but the area is an outdoor playground!
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The bunkhouse is heated by storage heaters.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 bedrooms each sleeping 4 people in 3ft bunk beds. Plenty of headroom. Each bed has it's own bedside light. All have heaters.
- **Linen:** All beds are made up upon arrival. Each bed has a 13.5 tog duvet and 2 pillows. Please provide your own personal towels.
- **Bathrooms:** There are separate ladies and gents bathrooms with showers, basins and WCs. There is another WC near to the kitchen.
- **Children's Facilities:** There is a children's play area in the holiday village.
High chairs and travel cots can be hired at an extra cost.
- **Outdoor:** Covered verandah at the front of the building. Rear outdoor area with picnic benches seating up to 20 people. Dedicated barbecue area to the rear.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no pool.
- **Parking:** Plenty of off road secure parking and enough room for cars, minibuses and coaches. Large, secure, lockable bike shed.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside the building.
