## About The Property

Ridge Farm is a 12-acre complex in beautiful rural surroundings – an ideal place for workshops & retreats, and somewhere a bit different for business teams to study, relax and get to know each other.

The Farmhouse is a stunning Mediaeval building that accommodates up to 24 people in 12 bedrooms, either self-catering or with cook-housekeeper. The large reception rooms are perfect for meetings or, if you need a bigger area, the pool-house is a light, airy space with room for 150 seated.

We don’t offer entertainments like clay shoots or quad biking on site (although these and many others are available nearby) but it’s a great place to chill out, and there’s plenty of space for groups to organise their own low-key activities. The sauna & Jacuzzi are available all year round, and if you’re not using the Pool-house for your meetings you can, of course, enjoy a swim.

We’re in an easily accessible position on the Surrey-Sussex border, mid-way between Dorking & Horsham, a mile and a half from the A24. Gatwick airport and the M23 are 15 minutes drive, and the M25 is about the same distance. There’s plenty of parking here, but we’re particularly well-placed for arriving by train too, as Dorking is on two lines (N-S serving London and the South Coast, and and E-W between Reading and Ashford) and the stations are well-served by taxis.

We know our guests need to be in touch with the outside world, so we’re a Wi-Fi hot-spot, and although it feels like we’re miles from anywhere there’s good reception on all the mobile phone networks.

Ridge Farm has a long and fascinating history but is probably best known for being a world-class residential recording studio in the last three decades of the 20th century. Now it’s a favourite venue for weddings, holidays, workshops, retreats, product launches, location filming, corporate events & away-days, with the emphasis on getting away from it all.

- **Dog Friendly:** Sorry, no pets.
- **Accessibility:** Level entrance at front of house; downstairs bedrooms, WCs and shower room. The Poolhouse is also accessible
- **Hot Tub:** In pool house.
- **WiFi:** Wi-fi hotspot and good mobile reception – although we won’t mind if you tell people you’re out of range!
- **Kitchen:** Two kitchens – a big farmhouse kitchen/breakfast room with refectory table, Aga, dresser, fridge and worktops. Also there is a modern cook's paradise
- **Dining Room:** Huge circular oak table, wood burning stove, door to terrace.
- **Sitting Room:** Large but cosy room with comfy sofas, open fire, and door to terrace.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Apple TV, Sound System, DVD etc in living room.
- **Games Room:** A selection of board games in living room. Table tennis in the Pool house.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Open fire in the living room, wood burning stove in the dining room. Central heating too.
- **Bedrooms:** 7 double bedrooms, plus the “hole in the wall” (twin) and 3 twin bedrooms.
- **Linen:** Table linen, bed linen & bathroom towels provided - please bring your own swimming towels.
- **Bathrooms:** 3 en-suite, 2 shared bathrooms and a two downstairs loo and shower room.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chair is available.
- **Outdoor:** Floodlit tennis court. Pool house with large swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, changing room, shower, WC and kitchenette.

- **Parking:** 10 cars in main car park by front door; additional parking available if required.
