Set on the edge of the North Wessex Downs it's idyllic for rambling walks on the ancient Ridgeway path just a stone's throw from the house. If you're looking for more adventure why not bring your mountain bike! The Ridgeway runs for 80 miles East/West across southern England & has historic monuments along its route such as Waylands Smythy & the most panoramic, breathtaking views.
Lambourn is famous for Horse Racing and if you have time while staying at the house why not check the Racing fixtures before you visit & spend a thrilling day at Newbury Races! 25 mins away you can experience the buzz of a win or just the sheer pleasure of seeing the steeds up close and personal.
15 minutes from the house is the picturesque White Horse on the hill at Woolstone. A stroll to the top rewards you with incredible far reaching views and the local pub The White Horse is a quintessential English pub serving delicious refreshments. It appears in the recent Strike series.
