Rise Hall has an amazing choice of dazzling rooms for civil ceremonies, including the newly decorated and light filled morning room and drawing room, both of which also have access onto the terrace for canapes and a drinks reception. At every turn there is beautiful feature panelling, high ceilings and large Georgian windows, a gorgeous backdrop for the big day. The Orangery is the largest space for the wedding breakfast and can be transformed into a party space at night with a dance floor, lighting and doors to the terrace for a celebratory firework display.

The bride may opt for the Swift Suite, a lovely environment for the wedding party to add the finishing touches, with good natural lighting for hair and make up. You’ll have your own butler, too, to wait on you and pour a glass of bubbles to settle any nerves. There is an amazing en suite bathroom offering a twin bath and marble shower. When the preparations are complete, the bride make an entrance from the gallery of the Belvedere Hall, down the magnificent cantilevered stone staircase.

The morning of the big day, share a continental breakfast in the dining room before getting suited and booted for the ceremony. After the wedding feast and some serious dancing, simply walk upstairs and flop into bed.

After breakfast the next day it’s a nice idea to spend a last few hours together before the newlyweds disappear. There are a number of nearby pubs recommended for a Sunday roast or Hornsea is a short drive away for fish and chips next to the sea.
