The Riverside is both comfortable and stylish and all 6 bedrooms have their own bathrooms/shower. Plus there are two small bunk rooms off two of the bedrooms, making them good for families. The lovely large kitchen/dining room has a wonderful, large, extending table, an Aga, an electric cooker, 2 fridges, freezer and a dishwasher. There is, of course, central heating and a lovely open fire (which comes with plenty of logs to chuck on) in the sitting room. The Riverside lends itself to large groups of friends or families wanting to spend time together; either just for a holiday or for a special celebration. Whether you choose the self catered option or decide to bring in a local caterer to cook for you, guests can be guaranteed the chance to spend "quality time" with their friends or family. There is a discount for smaller groups who just use the main house (see Room Plan) during term time. When you arrive you are assured of a warm welcome as the beds will be made up, the fire laid in and the house ready for you; and there is no clearing up to do when you leave either! Included is weekday bed making/light cleaning (but keeping the kitchen clean/tidy is the responsibility of guests) and departure day clean. There are two boats which may be available (please enquire) for guests to use on the Helford River (available April - end of October). The river has creeks and coves to explore and there is plenty of flora and fauna to watch out for. The Riverside is available for short breaks (during term time) or by the week or fortnight during school holidays. Helford is on The Lizard Peninsula, Britain's most southerly point. There is so much to do in this part of Cornwall - walking, boating, sporting, gardening, culture - do enquire get a more detailed list of the area's fantastic potential. There really is something for everyone. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Sorry no pets, however well behaved. - **Accessibility:** No facilities for disabled guests. - **WiFi:** Yes. - **Kitchen:** Well equipped kitchen with an Aga and an electric cooker, dishwasher, 2 fridges freezer and double sink. - **Dining Room:** The kitchen and dining room have been merged into one fantastic room with a fabulous (extendable) table to seat 16. - **Sitting Room:** Very comfortable sitting room with open fire and an area for playing board games from our Games Cupboard. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TV, DVD (+ TVs and radios in bedrooms). - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating and an open fire. - **Bedrooms:** 4 double or twin bedrooms in main house; 2 double/twins rooms with 2 small bunk rooms off in the separate building. - **Linen:** Freshly laundered, beds made up. Towels provided.
