## About The Property

An ideal place to base yourself for an adventurous or relaxing break. The Rock and Rapid Adventure Centre is an AALA registered centre that offers activities such as climbing, canoeing and surfing. The bunkhouse lends itself to youth and school groups wanting good quality and very reasonably priced accommodation.

The bunkhouse can be rented out for sole use, or we can put together either an activity package or a full programme including food for your school, youth or special interest group. Our instructors are well qualified and experienced, and our aim is to make your group’s experience here an unforgettable one.

Rock and Rapid Adventures are also an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The North Devon coastline is only 30 minutes away from the centre, and we can offer surfing lessons and other watersports. On site we have an indoor climbing wall where we can offer climbing lessons for the beginner, or climbers can register and use the wall themselves.

Group activities and facilities available on site or locally include abseiling, archery, canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, climbing, coasteering, raft building, coastal rafting, stand up paddle boarding, gorge walking, horse riding, mountain biking, paint balling, sailing, surfing, team building activities, walking and windsurfing. Let us know what you are looking for and we will be happy to put together a package meeting your specific requirements.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** By prior arrangement.

- **WiFi:** Good mobile reception, WiFi facilities in the Adventure Centre.
- **Kitchen:** Fully stocked kitchen with cutlery, pots and pans. Large range style cooker, large American fridge/freezer. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.
- **Dining Room:** Dining room/sitting room can seat 40.
- **Sitting Room:** Dining room/sitting room can seat 40. Sofas and TV.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Television and DVD player.
- **Games Room:** Indoor climbing and bouldering wall on site, better than a games room! (pre booking required).
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Wood burner and electric heaters.
- **Bedrooms:** 2 Alpine style bunk bedrooms (each sleep 18), 2 separate staff/leader rooms (bunk beds in each).
- **Linen:** Please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.
- **Bathrooms:** Separate male and female toilets. Hot showers.
- **Outdoor:** Barbecue area with picnic benches (prior arrangement required).
- **Parking:** Parking space for approximately 45 cars.
- **Smoking:** No smoking in the buildings.

- Prices start from £2260 per night for sole use of the Bunkhouse; this caters for up to 40 people. For bookings of just a single night the price is £285 per night.
