If a break in the wonderful Lake District National Park appeals, this is a great choice for multi generation families, friends, couples and walkers to get together for some quality time.
Rowling End Farm Cottages offer a choice of very comfortable cottages suited to the needs of a mixed gathering, perfect for groups of families or multi generational groups, where both generous social spaces and more private accommodation are required.
Kitchens are fully equipped, and there are 3 utility rooms across the site to take care of muddy clothes, plus boot rooms for drying kit and storing muddy wellies. Dining tables in each house seat the number of guests staying, sociable areas with picture windows to bring those views inside. Rowling End has 2 sitting rooms with wood burners, space for a mixed age family group to spread out.
Bedrooms are configured as super kings, twins and bunks, some of the super king beds can be split into singles. The Farmhouse works well for a family with young children offering a bunk room. Cots are available for infants in all of the houses. All bedrooms are cosy and warm spaces with pretty soft furnishings and great Fell views.

The parking are is set on the lower level of the garden and we do have EV charging points.
This group of holiday houses in Newlands Valley provides a great base for Lakeland walks without needing to get into the car. Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, is also only a 30 minute drive away. Take a trip to Derwentwater for watersports including paddleboarding and kayaking. Keswick, just 15 minutes away, is a lovely town with attractions, museums and shops, and is handy for picking up supplies or a pub lunch. Pop into the Cumberland Pencil Museum or the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction at Bowness-on-Windermere.
