This seaside holiday cottage in Stiffkey on the North Norfolk coast is a minute walk to the coastal path, pedlars way and the famous National Trust Stiffkey Marshes and sandy beach behind. All dogs are very welcome.
The kitchen dinner at Samphire is well set up for meal prep and eating together in a really sociable space that boasts a stunning wood floor. Afterwards, relax in the cosy lounge next to the wood burner or choose a bench on the large west or east facing verandahs - or relax in our brand new hot tub, breathe in that pure Norfolk sea air, and enjoy a spot of stargazing - Norfolk has very big skies.
The enclosed garden is absolutely perfect for kids and dogs to let off steam while the adults enjoy chewing the fat with a glass of wine. The Red Lion is just a short stroll away, somewhere to grab food if you fancy a break from the cooking, and highly recommended.
The accommodation includes a master with amazing views, a double, a twin and a bunk room. 2 of the spacious bedrooms can be found on the ground floor along with 1 of the bathrooms, convenient for anyone less mobile. They are all pleasant light and airy spaces with stylish soft furnishings.
This area of outstanding natural beauty offers so much to visitors. You don't have to go far at all to enjoy a day at the seaside - it's a bit like having your own private beach. Walk to Blakeney Point and see the seals living in their own habitat; what an experience. The Stiffkey Salt Marshes provide endless opportunities for keen bird watchers to enjoy rare sightings in any season and it's also a great place to try out paddle boarding or canoeing. Stiffkey is close to many brick and flint villages to explore, offering any number of dog friendly cafes and pubs. Wells-next-the-Sea has a bustling harbour and a great place to pick up some fish and chips for supper, and Holt is a charming bustling town with great eateries and shops.
